Forums and MUD-Dev

I started adding content by linking and commenting on two resources for text game developers - forums and MUD-Dev. MUD-Dev was a mailing list that for nearly ten years served as a sounding board for developers of Multi-User Dungeons (MUDs). Forums, of course, are self-explanatory, and are where much of today's development discussions take place.

Dawn of the Ages Builder Documents

I moved the builder docs for Dawn of the Ages to Grim Wheel, seeing as I'm the primary maintainer for them. I haven't linked to the docs from Grim Wheel, and am unsure if and when I'll do that, but for players of the game, that's where I'll refer them.

In the Beginning...

Grim Wheel is a site dedicated to text gaming in the form of Multi-User Dungeons, or MUDs. MUDs were a popular form of gaming for many internet users in the nineties, and while only a fraction of a fraction as popular as today's MMORPGs, many of these games continue to draw players from all corners of the globe. You can learn more about MUDs by choosing one of the links to the right. Or, if you're patient, you will learn even more from this site.

You can go to the main site for Grim Wheel at grimwheel.com.
